Right after my EV6 GT-Line S RWD completes charging (usually in the early hours of the morning ), the alarm triggers! This has happened 3 or 4 times now, I need to do some more experiments to confirm but wanted to know if others had experienced anything similar....


Here's an example timeline from the Kia Connect app last night. I preempted the issue and manually cancelled charging through the app, sure enough 3 minutes later the alarm triggered and I unlocked/locked the car to cancel it.

The car was set to unlock the cable on completion of charging. I've switched it to keep the cable locked until the car is unlocked.... let's see if that makes a difference

I've seen posts about this on another forum. Seems a sensor was causing an issue. The comments on this thread may help.

Alarm going off!!

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing false car alarms?! I only got my car yesterday and its gone off twice today, once when I was parked at the newsagents and about ten minutes ago when on my drive at home. Both times it was locked and no windows opened. I had sent a preconditioning...

Awesome, thanks! Thankfully my symptoms aren't as bad as some of theirs, still annoying though. Will be giving the dealer (another) bell today then!
