Anyone have any inside info on when we might see any Canadian pricing? I mean, preorders are nice and all, but I cant see myself placing something like that without at least a ballpark idea of what the end price will be. :)

Nothing official but you can look at the competition to get an idea. We’re only getting the long range so look at the big battery versions of the competition.

The ID.4 Pro AWD starts at $49,990 with the (same?) 77.4kWh battery and $44,990 for the Pro RWD. The Mustang Mach-E Premium RWD LR starts at $66,645 but it’s a slightly bigger capacity than the EV6 at 88kWh usable. The base Mach-E Select RWD SR starts at $50,495.

Hyundai just dropped their Kona EV price a few thousand so it’s now $43,699 so methinks they’re making space for the Ioniq 5. No word from Kia. They have two vehicles to price - Soul and Niro EV (Soul has a smaller battery option). But I suspect we won’t see it qualify for the rebate - only Ioniq 5. The reason is that the Ioniq 5 will offer a 58kWh option while the EV6 is only offered in 77.4kWh option.

So, after all that, I suspect the EV6 EX will start near $50k, EX Plus at $55k and GT-Line at $57k. There may be packages on top of that that push it beyond $60k

Thanks for sharing that. I expect their estimates are low, if not for the base short range RWD then definitely for the upper trims. Eg. GT for $57k CAD seems wildly optimistic, and is only a couple thou more than their estimates for the AWD Long Range.

They’ve just released Canadian pricing on the ioniq 5 - this should give us a good indication of the EV6 pricing.

Looking around Europe, comparing the price for fully-optioned GT Line (or GT Line-S) vs. the fully-optioned Ioniq 5, the EV6 ranges from 1% cheaper to 8% more expensive (average: 2% more expensive).

With the top-trim Ioniq 5 at $62,144 in Canada, this puts Canadian GT Line, fully-optioned pricing at between $61,500 and $67,000. I think that even at the high end it's reasonable, but they'll certainly make waves if it's priced in the low 60's. And jeez, if they make the base pricing at $49,999 and the GT Line is a packaged add-on so we can get the EV credits, that would be fantastic!

They changed the EV6 pages, adding pictures of the NA model (reflectors near front wheel well) and adding a downloadable brochure with specs. No changes to price or spec that I see. https://www.kia.ca/en/vehicles/2022/ev6/specs
Where do you see the price on the site you linked?
I see specs, I see brochure, downloaded brochure but the price is no where to be found. It just says "starting at 44,950" request Quote.

Just two days ago the price for Standard , Long-range and GT line Pk1 and pk2 was on kia.ca. Now all those prices are missing. Unless I'm missing something

True they removed pricing - but the EV6 landing page does still stage starting at price.
Also here their press release with full pricing, and I took a full page screenshot should we need to reference it in the future.

Well you are on clever cookie. Thank you!

The dealership also states there is a $2000 delivery & Destination charge + $495 doc fee, +$595 prep fee + 2.5% dealership net + color fees + tax.

Did anyone else get this? Is this standard?
