Recently as I charge my Ev6 in my garage I recieve a message stating charging has failed after 15-20 min. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. I have reduced the charge to the minimum. I am using a Wallbox Pulsar Plus 48V charger. Though I would like to be able to use max charging abilities rather than the minimum. I have had the car since November 2022. This has become an issue within the last few weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are a couple of threads on this forum about this issue. Just search for "charge failed". Also, the threads contain information about a TSB software update that fixes the problem. Read the threads and then call your dealer.

I took my EV6 GT-Line into the dealer a few days ago for the software update mentioned in the TSB referred to above. I was having recurring “Charging failed” errors with my home charger unless I put the current down to about 24A. I told them about the TSB and said I was officially complaining as the TSB tells the dealer only to perform the service in response to a customer complaint. First charge with the new software is finishing up now, and the charging power history on my charger shows that the power dropped from about 11 kW to about 7 kW currently. I think the update makes it just automatically slow the charging down when it detects a temperature problem to keep the temperature under control rather than terminating the charging.

I see charge current drop from 40A to 22A in ~30-40 minutes, after TSB application. BUT, it does fully charge, rather than quit all together.

Fully charge in about twice the time, that is!

Seems like the TSB fix is a band-aid rather than a fix !

After having the vehicle since July '22 and installing the charger in the garage, since February '23 I have received a message that the claim has failed.
Therefore, after wearing it to the Kia Auto Q service in Korea, it was confirmed that the charging terminal generated heat exceeding the standard value, and the vehicle forcibly stopped charging.
I charged it with a full charge rate of 60% and the problem went away.
And getting a call from Kia in 2 weeks is an upgrade that adjusts the charging speed by switching to program control.
.I hope this helps.
