Has anyone found a way to install a light of some sort to illuminate the charging port? Would be handy when trying to connect the charging cable when it's dark and not enough lighting around.

They are all way too big. Some sort of ring around the port would be great. Might have the make something myself.

Yes, agreed too big but it was more a suggestion to get people thinking. How about a small LED bar to light the general area?
Yeah I am thinking about a led strip, those are quite thin and IP67 rated, have to see how to wire it. Maybe run it off the 12V or 230V socket in the car.

One would have thought that a commercial charger would have lighting around it - as existing petrol stations -, and if you are charging at home....install a light. Isn't there also a series of strip lights inside the charging bay indicating what level of battery is left ? Do you have a light on your filler cap for petrol/diesel ?
