Hi everyone, I was promised delivery of my EV6 GT Line AWD in April but have now been contacted by the dealership that the car is now delayed until the latter part of June and his own statement is that there will probably be a further postponement of delivery.
Has anyone else also received this message? And does anyone have any further information on what this is due to?

I ordered my car GT Line S big battery pack with all inclusive, in June 2021.My delivery was first march, then it was April.

Delivery was promissed for September 2021, than December, and than the dealar admitted that he has no any reliable information about the deliver date until the car goes into production. Until than everything is only guessing.

My GTS AWD no HP was promised for end of March, now have an estimated delivery date of 20 July (this may slip too).

Apparently all EV 6’s are delayed until December according to the dealership in Swansea, due to a shortage of semiconductors. I’m sceptical and wonder if anyone can confirm this, or am I being fobbed off?
EV6’s (especially GTLine S AWD) are according to Kia U.K. delayed delivery to December (IF NOT BEFORE). There has been various reasons given....not sure which are true (if any)….shortage of semiconductors, neon gas required to produce the semiconductors comes from Ukraine, wiring looms made in Ukraine….Brexit…and probably many more….basically everyone (KiaUK and dealers included) are just guessing what the delays are. No one can say with any remote certainty until your order appears on the system as going into build and you’ll get a VIN number.Hi, it may be worse. The strange thing about all this is that I wonder how they thought in their original production schedule and had they not secured deliveries of eg semiconductors for cars that were already in the delivery schedule.Ordered GT Line S AWD in Sept 2021 for delivery March 2022 and just been tweeted by kia yesterday that they cannot give me an updated delivery estimate until sometime in the summer! Looks like delivery is going to be end of the year maybe even early 2023

I ordered GTLS AWD + Heat Pump here in Finland in May 2021. The initial guestimate of the delivery time was November 2021. By that time, I did not receive an updated ETA, and that still holds: the first and only ETA comes when the car finally pops out of the production line. Until that time, total radio silence. In February, I asked and was told that the car has been marked for production on February, but so far I haven't got any information whatsoever about the status of the car. So the car hasn't been manufactured yet and the delivery might be just about anything starting from early July. That makes the delivery time 400+ days for me.

On Friday 7th of May 2021 at 19:13 EET to be exact. I actually thought that pretty much all non-GT UK orders made in 2021 were already delivered, but this proves me wrong. Ordered July 21, told Oct 21, Nov 21, December 21 etc etc.
Says its on boat and due to the dealer the first week of May 22.

Due to be at the dealer around 19th May, hopefully be able to see it on the 20th and then finally get it 24th/25th May, so over a year from ordering.

Interestingly my car is ordered in October but it is still unclear when the car will be delivered. I don't think anyone has had a 'promised' delivery date for a new build from Kia, or indeed any manufacturer currently.
I definitely didn't, just a hopeful estimate (which has gone back many months). Dealers really don't have any more idea than we do.
As has been said many times in many threads you'll only really have a proper idea when your car gets a build date and VIN. Then around 12 weeks to collection.
I'm hoping to be notified Q3 for Q4 delivery. That us the latest, but surely not a promise. Ordered early Dec 21.

What I understand it's that the dealer does not see any updates until the car is actually assembled. Last week they had no clue about production date. I am in Arvika.
