I just read that some people are now getting an estimated delivery 10 months in the future... Is anybody really gonna wait that long in this rapid changing landscape?

Ok, so no issues in the UK it seems. I've heard August '22 delivery times for orders placed a few weeks ago for the GT Line.

I pre-ordered a GT-Line in July. Test drove it last week and signed the lease. Delivery in February.

Evening all. New to the forum. I've just sent my order off for a 2WD GT Line S. Has anyone heard of any problems with them yet, early days I know.

Lots of software issues.

Cars not charging. Cars not starting. Hopefully software update soon.

Bottom line is that actually nobody knows, there are a huge number of uncertanties in the industry, and the best thing is not to plan for any specific date. It will change. Every manufacturer is in the same situation, new models or old. One of the reasons for the huge bounce in s/h car prices is non-availability new.

I have heard various theories about different colours and spec taking longer etc without much evidence. I am not changing my preferred spec on rumour.

When it is loaded on the boat then I will know it is coming. Until then I believe nothing.

GT-line S RWD HP in white ordered Dec 8th. Told April delivery.

Just got an update from the dealer yesterday. As of now it is still expected to arrive at the end of April. Let's just wait and see. I can live with (work around) a delay of a month or two (so sometime in June). As I will be without a car from May.

In fairness to your dealer I honestly don't think they can give anyone an accurate date at present.
Toyota just cut production (again) due to Covid staff absences for instance. I'm advised the chip issue is easing but not solved.

I would have a fall back plan myself!

A month ago. And yes, I am still expecting some delay. My only backup plan is to get on a bicycle for a few months or rent a car when I really need one.

That is cool, and first proof I have seen that the S version may take slightly longer. I guess it can all change though.

I read that screen shot as orders placed before 08/11 are due for delivery in March, whilst new orders are now quoting April

That was the same data when I ordered mid Nov. But some are now suggesting that those dates have changed further into 2022.
