Hi all... I got my Wind AWD a week ago, and every time I tried to switch on the cruise control, all I got was blinking CC icons on the display. I finally realized that if you were accelerating or holding a steady foot on the accelerator, CC would not engage. I had to raise my foot off the pedal, then press the steering wheel button to get it to work. Is it just me or that kinda weird? No car I've ever driven required me to coast to set the CC.

That seems odd. Is that typical Hyundai/Kia behaviour? I don’t recall how I engaged CC during my Ioniq 5 test drive so I can’t confirm nor deny whether I engaged it when my foot was on the accelerator.

It also has NSCC. But given that you can’t activate CC, it’s safe to assume CC refers to either SCC or NSCC.

NSCC only activates on the motorway/highway.

I'm gonna have to try that again, didn't think it worked for me.

This is how I do it. YMMV

Press “1” to activate (turnnonat your current speed. then let off accelerator

Toggle “2” to increase or decrease set speed

Press “2” to cycle active/inactive, but still keep system on at set speed.

So if you turn it on and let off accelerator and it does take hold, but is still on, just press “2”
