I noticed that not only did I have to manually enable DST on the EV6 but I had to do so on each driver profile.

I can maybe see having to manually enable/disable DST since the switch date has changed in the past and is likely to change again (causing real havoc with devices that automatically switch under older rules).

But having to switch it for each profile? I mean, in what universe would I use the car in DST but my wife would use the car that same day but in standard time?

I think that one got by the QC people.

Daylight Saving Time. A crazy phenomenon in most States in the US that changes time forward one hour in the Spring. Then in the fall, they go back to their regular time.

As already mentioned, we yanks call it DST -- Daylight Saving Time. It's pointless today and I wish it would go away. But, alas, we can't agree if it should go away and, if it did, do we stay permanently on DST or on standard time (my vote).

Not just in the states. Lots of countries do this.

my wife uses one daylight setting for the whole year - so the answer to your question is: in my world .

Yeah this one’s definitely a bug not a feature. I had forgotten it has to be switched on all profiles until I came out to a cold car the following morning; scheduled departure had failed to kick on because the time was wrong on one of the two profiles.
