Can't say that I have noticed this on my EV3 Air, but possibly the roads I drive on are better. You could retract it while driving and then extend it if you want to hide things in the boot while parked and away from the vehicle. Of course, there is always that annoying gap between the rear seats and the cover, which means part of the boot can be seen anyway. I think the Korean version of the EV3 has reclining rear seats, which requires the gap. I did see someone makes a filler piece that fits in the gap to cover the boot entirely. I agree that the EV3 is nicely quiet car (apart from all the driver warnings....., but you can turn those off).
