Kia EV6 limited
I only need V2L to power my refrigerator and freezer. I am prepped for no power.
All just first impressions, mind:When you say the e40 was better in every way, can you elaborate. The BMW is not faster, although, it is certainly a better handling car than the EV6. I think the infotainment is also better on the BMW. What aspect of the cameras did you find better. Did the one you drive have 3D view. My car would not, as it was removed due to chip shortages. But I would be curious what else you thought was better on the BMW. I was not paying a mark-up. The car, equipped as I originally built it was 64,800. Maybe I should auction my build slot -- just kidding. But, apparently there is a long wait for the car, and of course, the tax credit will dsappear at the end of 2023, as it will for the EV6.
agreed. I’m going with a m50 which lost DAPP and PAP for a bit but just came back. Hopefully it comes back for the e40. I would cancel my order if both were missing. Thanks for all the great points. You must have driven a 2022. Unfortunately, all the auto steering and 360 view options have been deleted for 2023 builds. Incredibly disappointing. And really a deal breaker for me.
Once you’ve had both for a while, please do come back for a comparison!I was waiting ages for my BMW i4 to be built so I had the chance to buy an EV6 AWD Wind w/ Tech Package in the meantime. I got a good deal on my BMW M4 trade in so went for it. Right before my EV6 arrived, the BMW started production but I still went ahead with the EV6 purchase. I love the EV6 but now, so does my wife. I was going to cancel the i4 order but I have had 7 BMWs and still want the i4. My wife will drive the EV6 when I get the i4 in a month or so. Thanks for the comparison reviews. Very helpful.
That is very true. The i4 e40 2023 model does not have DAPP or PAP.Once you’ve had both for a while, please do come back for a comparison!
Also, I think you’re right to keep the reservation if only since you’ll likely be able to turn a profit if you simply sell it after a few months, if it’s true that the new production can’t be ordered with half the fun parts.
