Well the changes announced around this time last year were very minor, as I recall, one-touch rear windows, some lining for the storage area below the gear selector, pre-conditioning and maybe one other thing. Be interesting to see what the tweaks are this time around.

Should stick a high level rearward camera and tie into the mirror, would mostly answer the whole lack of rear wiper that many complain about.

This is fake news. Look closely at the pic. EVERY visible panel is identical to the current car. The roof, windows, wheels, side trim, front fender aren't different at all. Can't imagine a new model that has a greenhouse identical to the current one. And the editorial information is 100% speculation. This is pure clickbait.
You might be right... I've no way to verify the source as either valid or fake, and there certainly is a lot of fake news out there these days.
It's sure fun to speculate though!:)

The precondition was an update for all and not a model update. 👍

As for the other items you mention, puddle lights off the wing mirrors would be ideal also.

As I recall the preconditioning (instead of winter mode) was listed as a model change for MY2023, along with the other bits I mentioned. Preconditioning is also available as a software upgrade for earlier cars but apparently dealer specific as to whether they might charge you for it.

Had mine updated for free. 👍

The car was sold with this function so in theory you can argue you have not got the feature you paid for so why would you expect to pay, you would not by a colour TV and it only worked in Black and White and accept this.

Yes the example maybe extreme but you get the idea. 👍

Me too. I got it done recently. No questions asked. Of course, i had to bring it in because my stupid 12V battery died but at least it was replaced for free too.

I took my First Edition in for the update and my 12 volt battery died halfway through. So I'm sitting in the service department now getting my new battery as well.
Tip: If you have an OBDII device, remove it before your appointment. The Service Department looked to that as the source of a suspected parasitic current draw. No way I could get them to consider anything else, until it repeated the failure with nothing attached.

Looked at a 2023 and the only difference I've notice was the door handles have a little guiding divot. Guess you need it if the handle aren't going to present on all models
The "divot" you describe is unique to EV6's without the auto presenting handles. They provide a little extra leverage. The cars with auto presenting handles have a single indent in the center (just above the actuator switch).

If they are redesigning the lights, I wonder will they make them "bendy" and also include some cornering lights ?

A quick look at the EV9 specs doesn't seem to include either of these lighting improvements (unless I missed it), which might be suggestive of KIA not including these on any of the EV cars, which would be disappointing.

The red one is nicer. This latest one makes it look like a Niro.

That said, I did like the design earlier before I saw the full body rendering. But now that I see the design with the rest of the car, it's not as appealing.

For styling I'll stick with the old look. One of the reasons I chose the EV6 was the look of two headlights and a semblance of a grill. Not the front end look of a shoebox that some other brands had. I like the current headlights look rather than some thin geometric lines.

I had the same thought, I like the older style better.

The EV6 Facelift was spotted out in public in Korea.

I wonder if the full rear-middle light bar for brakes will make it to the US? Or do current RoW EV6s already have that feature, like the rear amber turn signals.
