Anyone knowing if the EV6 supports OTA update not only for Navigation but also for the complete car functionallty. Got information from Hyundai customer support that Ioniq 5 does not. Not sure what is the fact here.
If confirmed that Hyundai Ioniq 5 doesn't neither will the EV6. Always been unclear what extend of OTA will be, also what are the alternative (I'm not against a user USB upgrade, as long as we don't rely on dealer. Not sure about Kia but the few Mercedes dealers I dealt with always "forget" to spend time upgrading anything. While entertainment and navigation are easy to check, ECU, BCM etc aren't.Anyone knowing if the EV6 supports OTA update not only for Navigation but also for the complete car functionallty. I think you are unlikely to see full OTA updates on the EV6 or Ioniq 5. We may get OTA updates to the Infotainment system, but you won't see full OTA integration until Hyundai/Kia start installing the Nvidia "Connected Car" system - probably next year now!Anyone knowing if the EV6 supports OTA update not only for Navigation but also for the complete car functionallty. Am I alone in being completely uninterested in self-driving cars?I think you are unlikely to see full OTA updates on the EV6 or Ioniq 5. I assume 2022 means cars developed in 2022, not 2022 year models? Surely we would have seen something about the EV6/Ioniq 5 including this if they had it.... you won't see full OTA integration until Hyundai/Kia start installing the Nvidia "Connected Car" system - probably next year now!

I've working in computing long enough to know that I don't want one in total control of me travelling at 70mph. I don't mind them helping. Bugs can appear 30 years after development.TWO of us. BigCheesyGrin
The preview I seen of the Sportage 2022 (2022 Kia Sportage Review – Just got beefier! - Bing video ) shows also traditional 5th gen head unit. I suspect nvidia drive more likely to be in 2023 modelsHi there,
The new kia sportage 2022 does have the "nvidia drive" system.
Then I think the kia ev6 will also have it, right?
