Just wondering.
I’m seriously thinking about getting my new EV6 wrapped in film for paint protection.
can any who have had their cars wrapped and paint protected give me an approx idea of cost and what works best.
I’m not interested in spray on stuff/ sealant like they try to get you to buy on a new car
purchase. What are other folks getting done to their new EV6?

Not sure about pricing in the UK. I live in the US. Quotes vary by region and individual shops. I had protective film put on the front of my Lexus RC (from the door jambs forward) and the rocker panels. It cost $2100. A full wrap of the entire car was quoted at about $6000. Then had ceramic applied to the entire car, about $1500. I am getting a Matte Grey FE here in the US and plan to do the same with my EV6. The Matte finish is no fun to care for.

I'm going to do my own ceramic coating and the materials all in were £150. I enjoy it to be honest. It's about 5 to 6 hours work as I'm not the quickest but I do take great care.

That's basically the same stuff. I'm using the gtechniq stuff but they are all SiO2 based.. That will be fine.

I just did my own PPF and it was not as hard as i thought it was. I paid about $112 for a roll of PPF. It does make it easier if you have another person helping you.
