Does it bounce at all from rebound after large bumps? If so, you need new shocks/dampers. 50k is slightly low but not a totally abnormal life for stock ones.
Thanks... That's the thing no rebound at all.... if there was I'd being thinking yeah shocks need looking at but!!!Does it bounce at all from rebound after large bumps? If so, you need new shocks/dampers. 50k is slightly low but not a totally abnormal life for stock ones.
Thanks even at 20mph could feel the rThumping? That would point to shocks to me. Thumping makes me think they're bottoming out. They don't necessarily need to have rebound to be failed.
Thank you... I did replace like for like with factory spec continentals...my first 20k or 30k car was riding beautiful but the problem is getting worse over time i do about 1k a week... Interestingly the interior is holding up great no rattles or squeaksAll four shocks are not going to fail at once and they won't do so without warning Stiffer sidewall tires in a lower profile size will though. Did you change brands?
You got 50K out of the tires ?Mines a RWD which is shockingly bad it's feels like a car with significantly more miles than its done just seems the car like it's running with 50 psi in the tyres all the time
It drives and feels like a totally different car 20k ago I'm so disappointed in the setup. It thuds and wobbles over any uneven roads
I even replaced the 4 worn conti silent continentals 255/45/20 with brand new ones made no difference whats so ever in fact I feel its getting worse
Ha Ha i wish on my second set of continentalsYou got 50K out of the tires ?
25K on one set is still good going.Ha Ha i wish on my second set of continentals
Will doPlease report back on the cause. You now have my attention.
