EV6 (US ) first edition - options

I reserved my EV6 first edition,
But now I am looking to find a list of all options the car will have. It says on Kia’s website ( it features a unique combination of our best features ) .From what I can figure the price of a first edition is going to be very close to the price of the GT line S all-wheel-drive which is almost fully loaded
which has ventilated seats and a few other goodies . It would be nice to be able to compare the first edition to the GT LINE S.
For the same price I would be willing to wait for a vehicle with more options if that was the case.

Hi Jack, welcome and happy Monday!

The First Edition will be fully loaded except for the high power front motor. Combined HP will be 320 and torque of 446lbft. She's been clocked in EU at 4.8 0-60mph which is faster than a stock Stinger.

I have attached a US Spec Sheet from Kia for your review.

Thank you
Greatly appreciate it I haven’t been able to find it anywhere
The first edition really looks like a great deal
Of course!!!

Most of what you see in research of EU and KR versions will shop up here. There will be a handful, of course, of things that won't make it here because Kia is VERY attentive to what they release in US vehicles to make sure that the brand image continues to grow.

Especially once you factor in the savings of the tax credit!

Interesting, here in Sweden we dont have GT-Line S, only GT-Line. Wonder what the difference is :D
Checking the pdfs now.....
Attaching the spec from here.

While still growing the brand, It seems KIA still doesn't bring things over that consumers would want. From what I have heard, the dealer association makes the decision on what comes over. Items such as 1 touch up/down on all windows on the Optima didn't make it to US market, thought they would have done better with the Stinger, nope. Canada got the loaded GT2 (US nomenclature) AWD for @ $50k Canadian, we got it minus the 360 cameras, heated rear seats and some other items, for $52k US. A currency conversion shows Canada got a really good deal on that car.

At the point, for the EV6, they should really have laminated glass all around to cut down on the outside noise, as well as tires that aid with reducing road noise, while also performing great. Too many times they have chosen efficiency tires that suck and causes the traction control and braking system to work overtime to keep things in line. We will see what they do for the US market in the next few months.
I have complete faith that they'll hit it out of the park just like on the Telluride!

I was doing my weekly digging and came across what seems to be a bit more detailed and possibly internally spec sheet.

Unsure which market it's from, but highly likely its from the UK market given its being released there shortly. [https://www.kia.com/content/dam/kwcms/kme/uk/en/assets/vehicles/EV6/Specification/Kia EV6 Spec Sheet May 2021.pdf]

Based on the URL and some word spellings I’d say you are correct that this is for the UK market. Also, last page has this….

Hi All (esprcially @MurlinatoR , one of the most helpful forum-ees I've ever seen),
This is quite the elementary question, but I don't really see any solid answers, anywhere:
What does the interior of the First Edition look like?? I've seen mostly shots of the GT-Line 2 tone style, and some very scant shots of a simple black interior (that matches the scant shots of the green FE interior as well).
Have there been any interior pictures or guides released for the USA EV6 FE? Silver matte/black here.
Thanks in advance!
Hey @Lightning44, happy new year and welcome to the forum!!!! Glad to have you!

So, the simple answer is no. LOL There is a pretty decent spot on Kia's website HERE that allows you to check out the interior of the EV6 with the different color options inside. The FE's had the green leather (Hulk), Black leather with white trim, or Black suede with white trim options based on the exterior color that you chose. Even the website doesn't show the Hulk interior.

Someone from the Netherlands posted the below shots of a demo car with green interior. Don't know if that's the same as what the US will get, but I wouldn't expect Kia to come up with two different green interiors:

Awesome, thanks all. That 360 is new since I was last on the official site, but now I'm just as confused - my rez is for "Color : Steel Gray Matte Exterior, Black/ Black Vegan Leather Interior". The two-tone interiors all have the flat wheel and GT-Line looking dash/lighting, but the FE photos do not have the GT-Line front fender/air intakes. But, the FE does have the interior lighting. If only there was some sort of FE release from Kia to show just what we're all blindly pining for...

My perfect world would keep the solid black leather seats and less tech-y dash motif, but include the flat-bottom GT-Line wheel. Any car with this much pickup should get a flat wheel.
I'm 98.2% sure that the FE's are going to be loaded GT-Line's with the unique badging and such.

So, based on recently released features listings, the FE versions will look like the Wind versions, right? No other external visual differences. Am I missing something?
It appears to be the case. They have classified it with the GT-Line trim in the system but evidently are building this trim distinctively for the FE's with the Wind body.

KIA Media has the exact specs sheets for the FE here

https://www.kiamedia.com/us/en/models/ev6/2022/documents
Has to be an error because it says power passenger window but not driver in the specs for 1st Ed :)
