Hii out there ! while im waiting for the EV6 to arrive. i'm looking after dash cameras but i'm not aware of what to pick up. 📷 have been looking at blackvue with rear view (DR590X-2CH) mostly because of the wifi function and seems to in reviews to have great night recordings. BUT the price...

Have you had issues with the recordings stopping before you turn off the EV6? I opened a support ticket with Fitcam and they sent me a new firmware release that I just upgraded to but now need to do some more test drives to see if the problem is resolved.

There's a power button (to turn it off I guess if you want to) and a button to take a snapshot. That locks in the recording when you do that.

The camera came with "MCX_YC03_53Z20230301 19:25:45" and they sent me "MC7053-5VZ20230324 14:46:44" which has resolved the issue with recordings ending early. However, the extension on the video files changed from MP4 to TS (transport stream) so I'm waiting to hear from them if that was expected (not a big deal, they still play fine in VLC).
