Mine (with the rear cam) is saving everything to .ts files...but I have a very different firmware version than you: TY670SLA307A..20221122. Just based on the numbers in mine, I would guess that it's older but not sure.

The firmware version is in a different format, so I wonder if the dual cam hardware is different. I have TY675SLA307A..20230320. I suppose I'll contact them; they should just put firmware updates on the web site.
Yeah reach out to them and see. That's odd yours would be different.Mine's installed, along with the rear cam. I went along the passenger side too and didn't have any issues.
One thing I noticed, though. On the first page of this thread it was mentioned that it was saving in MP4 and that the last recording when the power goes off is getting corrupted. And, that there was a firmware update to change the file type to TS which could just be cut off.

My unit originally came with "MCX_YC03_53Z20230301 19:25:45" and I was the one that reported the corrupted/truncated records to FITCAMX. They sent me the beta firmware version of "MC7053-5VZ20230324 14:46:44" which fixed the issue (and switched to .TS from .MP4). They've sinced released that beta version as "YC03_20230324 14:46:33". Now that is all for the front-only unit, so maybe there's a different branch for the front/rear combo like you're wondering.Mine (with the rear cam) is saving everything to .ts files...but I have a very different firmware version than you: TY670SLA307A..20221122. Hmm that's annoying. What is your firmware version? Is your SD card maxed out?My unit has recently (as of the last two days) started recording one second clips with a 10-15 second gap between clips. I've tried resetting, formatting the SD card, going from three minute to one minute duration but nothing seems to make a difference. I've reached out to FitCamX for next steps.
There is a newer version. They should be able to send it over.SD card was not maxed out but close. However, it continued to do this after reformatting it. Firmware version is TY670SLA307A..20221122...FitCamX asked about the firmware version as well but no updates since the replied to my original message.
They wrote back last night to say that the firmware version is good but the SD card might be writing too slowly. They sent over a utility to test the write speed but it will have to wait as I'm far from a computer for the next few days. There is a newer version. They should be able to send it over.
Oh gotcha. What micro SD card are you using? They wrote back last night to say that the firmware version is good but the SD card might be writing too slowly. They sent over a utility to test the write speed but it will have to wait as I'm far from a computer for the next few days.
yeah i would think that one would be good.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09B1J3BK2 The speed should be sufficient but I guess it's possible I have a defective unit. I I'll be able to test it on Monday.
Defective--possibly; slow--no way, not unless it's a counterfeit. Is it the fastest--perhaps not, but it's definitely not the slowest either.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09B1J3BK2 The speed should be sufficient but I guess it's possible I have a defective unit. Yes, I've noticed that it is very dim, to the point of being almost impossible to tell if it's on without effort during the daytime. Is anyone else having problems seeing the operational lights ( blue or red) during the daytime. Mine aren't able to be seen at all during the daytime and FITCAMX tells me this is normal.
Thanks
The speeds were 81 MB/sec write and 91 MB/sec read...which should be fine. However, the noted issue has not occurred again since the first day it happened. I'm really not sure what was going on (maybe heat or some other environmental issue) but I've got a few days of uninterrupted footage on the SD card right now.Defective--possibly; slow--no way, not unless it's a counterfeit. Honestly I never look at the lights lol. I'm pretty sure I have them turned off in the app. But I don't recall. Is anyone else having problems seeing the operational lights ( blue or red) during the daytime. Mine aren't able to be seen at all during the daytime and FITCAMX tells me this is normal.

Interesting. What are the heat specs for your memory card? I noticed it's not advertised for dash cams. Considering it's placement and constant writing/deleting it does get quite hot there. The speeds were 81 MB/sec write and 91 MB/sec read...which should be fine. Samsung PRO Plus microSD Card | Samsung Semiconductor Global lists it as -25c to 85c, the same as the PRO Endurance. I may exchange it regardless just to be on the safer side. Thanks for the tip on that model. What are the heat specs for your memory card? I noticed it's not advertised for dash cams. I know Samsung has the Pro Endurance that's ideal for dash cams.
Interesting. Yeah the endurance will work well.Samsung PRO Plus microSD Card | Samsung Semiconductor Global lists it as -25c to 85c, the same as the PRO Endurance. I may exchange it regardless just to be on the safer side. Thanks for the tip on that model.
