I also have a story to tell regarding their service department, but this is not the place......
My S21 Ultra is up-to-date and my head-unit has the Dec 22 update and I can't get AA in full-screen?My Android phone must have downloaded some update over the weekend. Android Auto now displays in full screen.
Also just found another update to AA to version 8.7.630264-release.My phone is an S10e running Android 12.
I'm not sure what your original estimated wait time was, mine (a RWD GT-Line) was ordered one year ago, but the vehicle is now built, has a VIN number and sitting at the docks ready for a boat to AustraliaIt seems like some deliveries of the GT are now occuring. A dealer in Ballarat has one available immediately (buyer pulled out), and I heard of someone else who is scheduled to get theirs next week.
Mine... well it's at least marked as "scheduled" to build in the Kia System, but no VIN or date yet.
Ooh, that's exciting for you!!I'm not sure what your original estimated wait time was, mine (a RWD GT-Line) was ordered one year ago, but the vehicle is now built, has a VIN number and sitting at the docks ready for a boat to Australia![]()
...and that frustrated me no end, the dealer said they don't get told much at all until the vehicle is produced, so info is scarce, I'd imagine you'd be getting close to the same timeframe as me then, keep probing your dealer and don't give up hope LOLOoh, that's exciting for you!!
I'll be interested to hear how long shipping takes.
I ordered 12 months ago and there was never any real expected delivery date because they just didn't know.
Ooh, I didn't see your original post, but mine has moved into a "scheduled" status for build. No VIN yet though. My dealer has told me that until a VIN is assigned it can actually switch back to unscheduled or face other unspecified delays. Once the VIN is allocated he says it's about a 2-3 month wait. Also, I didn't receive any notification from the dealer, I only found any of this out by talking to them.Hi Andy, yes I deleted it. Didn't want to jinx it in case the dealer was wrong ( which wouldn't be the first time )
Hopefully it is true, but as there is no VIN # yet and no pricing, i'll just put this down to a "maybe" at this time.
Just how they didn't even send me an email tends to leave me a bit cold.
Hi Dave, no you don't want to jinx yourself, BUT things are progressing which is more than I could say a few weeks ago. Now that my vehicle has a VIN# and is sitting awaiting shipping, the dealer was hinting 8 weeks till it hits the showroom, but mentioned also the quarantine dramas here Total ship show: Quarantine crisis deepens, 60,000 new cars stuck at sea and ports so it might be possibly further delayed, time will tell, but the light at the end on the long tunnel is getting brighter !!!Hi Andy, yes I deleted it. Hopefully things are moving Steyr, there seems to be a bit more fluidity now and hopefully wait times decrease, it'd still be good from a customer POV if Kia could improve their comms and streamline order to delivery notifications, I'm sure that wouldn't take much !Ooh, I didn't see your original post, but mine has moved into a "scheduled" status for build. Thanks Andy, yes i am grateful that things at least appear to be moving in a forward direction.Hi Dave, no you don't want to jinx yourself, BUT things are progressing which is more than I could say a few weeks ago.
