The car is fantastic. Perfect - no. I love it even though I'd like it if they had implemented a few things differently. I have joined the forum group for every car/truck I've owned for the past 20 years so that I can learn from others about features I didn't understand, and ask questions. The majority of all owners never get on a forum so if they aren't into cars or never explore all their cars are able to do, you never will hear from them. I think the 600+ page manual for this car is mind numbing and difficult to find things in. The forum and various videos online get the job done much better.

Really like my EV6. Nothing about it I didn’t know or expect and I bought it without much prep when it became available. I think some people have unrealistic expectations because this is one of the more expensive Kia’s on the market. Kia has a ways to go before it is thought of as a premium brand.
Kia has done well with the Telluride, EV6, Sorento. They need to get their dealers up to the standards that are trying to represent with their cars. I visited four dealers locally to pick the one I would use because the one I bought from is too far out to use routinely. There were vast differences in the dealerships. I picked a Huffines Kia dealer since it was new and has a good reputation in all brands that have dealerships for. 4.8 start rating with over 1200 reviews. Some others need some work in upgrading their facilities and how they appear to customers and their dealer/service ratings.

Get in line for a Tesla if you want all the highs of ownership with the depths of abandonment when you get t-boned or just waiting a year for delivery. My X is in the shop 9 months if the promised steering rack arrives by Thanksgiving. bought the Wind AWD because it just came off the truck. Only thing I miss are the electric doors. Everything else is just as good at half the price. Overjoyed!

Only had mine 2 weeks, but love the car so far, with the normal minor gripes. Best, most fun car I have owned.

A big issue, and I read a great article about it, is that Kia (and Hyundai) have stepped up their vehicles (and pricing) while their dealership model remains stuck in the "cheapest cars available" mode. People are not happy paying $60k+ for a car, and having $20k level sales/service experience. The dealers may be the only thing that keeps the "old Kia" mindset going.

I am not a happy EV6 owner at the moment--matte paint issue that was present at delivery has yet to be resolved even six months later, front end scratched up/damaged due to careless driver opening his door right in front of my vehicle. Even if neither issue gets resolved I love mine enough that I'll still drive it...

I love this car, never would have owned a Kia if it wasn’t for this car. I would say though you gotta be smart and realistic to own this car. This is not a car for muggles. I think if they want to appeal to more average people they need to make the car stupidly easy to use specially with battery management but this car is not a prius. The majority of people whining are muggles or just have unrealistic expectations.

Good way to explain it...

In a free market, you can always choose to buy a product with more/better features at a price. I was halfway to a Taycan when I learned of the E-GMP products. The Taycan is a more-complete EV, but half way to a Porsche turned out to be just right for an EV6, and it's a lot easier to get in and out of.

My EV6 GT—Line AWD is my 3rd EV, had 2 Bolts. It is the best car I’ve ever owned and I have owned many cars. I charged a few weeks ago at 233Kw, beats the hell out of the 55Kw for my Bolts! After 4,000 miles I don’t think I would change anything on my EV6! My local dealer tried to get $5300 above list price so screw them, bought 300 miles away for list price at an awesome dealership. My drive home was great getting to know this incredible car.

I am getting depressed reading all of the whining that is on this forum. Is there no 'happy EV6 owners- mine is till on order and now after an hour on this forum- i am thinking maybe I should lose my deposit and get out of the KIA market. IS NOBODY HAPPY WITH THEIR KIA EV6?
I'm very happy with my EV6. I only replaced the subwoofer with a new $100 Rockwell active subwoofer and installed 3D Maxpider mats and a new mirror with Home link. I receive a lot of compliments and the car drives great. No problems so far. I would buy it again at MSRP like I did first time.

I have an MME-GT and the EV6-awdGTL and while I wasn't an unhappy owner, I'm trading in the EV6 to get another MME. For me, the car was just too....soft. I've had 30 vehicles now with a very strong opinion on focusing on the driving experience. I want to throw my vehicles around corners. The EV6 just drives too soft with a numb and lazy chassis, steering and throttle response. I can feel it flexing in turns and just feels sloppy in comparison to my usual preference in suspension tuning. The Mustang by comparison feels downright jumpy in throttle and steering response and feels lighter and more nimble. It's begging you to launch it. I'd put the EV6 somewhere in the top 10 vehicles I've owned, but it's not taking a "best car I've ever owned" award from me, personally.

I love my my EV6 Wind, no tech. Did a 6,000 mile trip this summer and the car was flawless. I would recommend you get your car. If you are not happy I suspect you could recoup most, if not all of your money. We all have different expectations. The EV6 met my expectations.

I am a very happy bunny, first full EV. Had upwards of 100 cars ( petrol head ) including Bentley, Aston, Porsche and Maserati. It is as a vehicle the best at what it does. Looking at the comments most are first world problems, it’s a car not a laptop. People f**** around with minor settings and then complain if there is a glitch.

Get it, drive it hard and treat it like a car not your latest phone - you won’t be disappointed
