Wasn't too happy with the top-end sound of the stock Meridian audio in my EV6. Found this review on the DS-18 piezo super tweeters:

Found they would not fit into the existing space with their existing housings (well you could maybe do something janky like gluing them in, but I wanted to have something reversible.) So I created replacement housings that also served as mounts to the original mounting screws inside the stock tweeter door trim piece.
The new tweeters are a slight improvement to my ears. Providing better clarity to sibilant tones, and providing more sizzle and ting to high-hat and crash cymbals.
Some installation notes:

Open to other tweeter solutions if you have better ones to suggest.

Some installation notes:
- The new housings reuse the house caps from the new tweeters.
- I used some adhesive felt around the front surface where the tweeter housing meets the door trim piece (like the foam being used on the stock tweeter assembly.)
- If the tabs don't quite sit flush enough, you can heat the tab up with torch to soften the plastic and bend it however you need it to sit.
- I de-soldered the original connector + capacitor from the stock tweeter and soldered that to the new tweeters. WHITE (new tweeter) = RED (old tweeter).
