Kia EV9 Spotted Driving in Los Angeles

Might be the first one seen in California on the road.

Perhaps going to a local car show?

I am sure more and more will be seen traveling to car shows and events.

My thoughts exactly, except I absolutely think the EV6 is stunning, with no caveats. Maybe in person the EV9 may wow one, but the photos it looks less then stellar in it's lines and overall form. Seems to me no better than any generic large SUV, with the caveat that it's electric. The Rivan R1S has far more style than the EV9, a bit let down by Kia's designers.

No unified design language on the EV9 and too much cladding. The back is a mess. There is no need to carry the rear quarter panel beltline across the lift gate (which serves no purpose as it only contrasts with the more curved cladding of the wheel arch and doesn't go through the doors to connect to the front quarter panel). I get the futuristic look they were going for to imitate the Rivian. Looking at it again, I think the double and thick and high cladding are making this tacky looking.

Goo kid and dog hauler no doubt.

Yep. I couldn’t get rid of those wheels fast enough.
Brutal.

Looks like California is the EV9 hotspot to see them.

All black rims will be best on any color. I'm getting dark grey.

For the time being I'll stick with my Navigator and EV6.

KIA's other bigger SUV's are so fantastic looking they departed from that with this.
Yeah. We're holding out for the Blazer SS EV.
Tesla was so Orwellian and difficult to work with on our home solar we'll stay clear of them, superior products or not with these prices no room for a problem company.

I would say it is in line with the cladding of the Telluride and that target audience wouldn't have an issue with the aesthetic.

Whatever sells right? Just like how people really don't need big SUVs but here we are.

In a perfect world, the only three consumer vehicles that should exist are hatchbacks, station wagons, and trucks/vans.
