USE GUEST LOGIN or you will get an ERROR!
Doing that worked for me, but in the past I also had to use guest login or else the app would tell me it couldn't find any cars registered to my account.
If I wait for the OTA update for the May 2023 navigation update, how long am I waiting? Days? Weeks?

From what I've read here and elsewhere from other folks who've waited for previous OTA updates, sounds like weeks to months. Heck, there were people just recently posting that they got the February 2023 update OTA within the last couple of weeks. And FWIW, my 23 GT-Line still seems to be on the October 2022 version, and hasn't gotten that Feb update OTA yet (not sure if it ever will)

Probably months. It takes them forever to push the update truly over the air via cellular.

I'd recommend getting a USB drive or (micro)SD card and USB reader and downloading the update yourself. It's far quicker than waiting months for the update to be rolled out to you over the air.
Took a while to d/l the update this afternoon. One of my mistakes was to buy a USB 2.0 memory stick. Took a VERY long time for the computer to transfer the update to the stick. Went out to the garage and plugged the stick into the EV 6's USB port. The update started immediately and took about an hour or so to install. As a newbie I have absolutely no idea how to program a trip with stops or use the charging station "thingy" this update supposedly added. Anyone explain all that to me in language an old guy can understand?

Well if your paying for service or you still have free service, my take is never. I went the whole life of my free service and never got one. UK gets 7years if free service with their EV6. Tesla give all their cars 5 years... hmm.

Searching the forum will answer all your questions and give you more to ask LOL

@TechnicallyJeff did a great video demoing it.
