Nice! I desperately want to see the where the 2nd row bench option falls on the trim levels as its a requirement for my needs.
Maybe its just me but i do not see any radio/ac buttons. I really hope they didn't go the vw/bmw route of making it all touch screen

Rather have the 60/40 split third row for more storage options like the telluride personally
VERY Telluride!
Yeah I can't imagine the swivel seats make it here. I love the infotainment compared to the ev6.

Now I just want to see a 7 seat version
Question because I forgot when does this come out again (when can we purchase)?

I'm a kia guy, but couldn't wait no longer so bought an Ariya last month but I'm liking this even though the interior and infotainment looks like my Ariya. But love the exterior look, I don't care for white cars so waiting to see the darker colors.

"We have consciously not used piano black," explained Jochen Paesen, vice president of interior design at Kia. "We're using a middle gray; it's in both matte and gloss. But as you see, the combination between matte and gloss is what makes it feel refined rather than just having a lot of gloss material. So it gives you a modernity, we feel. The black gloss has had its time—we can do without it," Paesen told Ars.
I was about to post this quote. The only people
in this world that like piano black trim are the ones that do not own a car with piano black trim. So happy to see kia learn and improve

I was worried where they were going to hide the heated steering wheel, heated and cooled seats buttons in the infotainment screen. Thankfully they are on the door panel as hard buttons right next to the lock/unlock
The number one reason the swivel seats will be a cool feature is easy loading of a baby into a car seat as the seat can face the open door.

I was watching one the videos that got pretty close up to the steering wheel and I did not see any paddle shifters. That would be pretty disappointing as using the paddle shifters to break is one of my favorite features about the EV6.
I loved paddles in the beginning on my ev6 but auto regen is by far the best efficiency overall
I really need to play with auto-regen more. I messed around with it a few times but never gave it a fair shake. Any good tutorials on best practices?
Just set it and forget it. It uses your gps, navigation, and radar sensors to adjust regen based on your route, speed, and distance between you and the car in front of you. Its ingenious
That's interesting, certainly don't want to hijack this thread, but I had no idea that it was nav-based... now I'm going to have to do some research. If there are no cars in front of you and no intersections close, will it coast freely like regen 0?
Yup you can watch the blue bar go up and down to show you the regen while driving
Hmm, looks like there isn't any illumination around the charging port in the videos. I've got a Sorento PHEV and consistently fumble around for a while trying to plug in at night, and that's one small feature I really wish it had.
The headlights final design is not even ready yet on this production prototype. Still a chance they add a light before the final version is released
Sure hoping for a bench seat option in the second row but doubt it with 3 rows.
This is already been confirmed. There are two options 6 seater (captains chairs in 2nd row) or 7 seater (bench in 2nd row)

Look at how big the 2nd row bench is! It is a lot bigger than my ev6.

This is definitely the version I prefer with having three children.

I just noticed that this version also has sun shades for the 2nd row windows like the telluride. The other cars in the previous videos didn't have them

I thought that’s what I would prefer for our telluride and 3 kids but we got the captains chairs and it’s great. Not as much fighting and everyone has plenty of room. Either way, I’m getting more excited for the specs and pricing, the looks are fantastic.
I much rather split the kids up when we have room but folding the third row to load up a ton of luggage and still have room for the whole family is the best of both worlds for me
