Just ran into this same issue with my 2100 mile EV9 Wind. Leaving it in front of my garage for now, to see if the issue goes away on its own. If not, will plan on disconnecting the battery, etc. my Kia dealer tells me that the soonest they can look at it is in 2 weeks; other dealers in the area 2 months. I love the car, but what a ridiculous customer service.

Update: Letting it sit for a long while resolved the issue for me. Seeing other new to me intermittent errors like “electrical system failure” that may or not be related.

In the meanwhile, my saga with Kia customer service continues. My dealer just went ahead and cancelled my service appointment “because they don’t have enough technicians to look at it”. Got a voicemail from them saying that “we should try rescheduling for the end of the month”. Although my car is drivable—for now—I keep wondering what happens if I run into an issue that doesn't go away on its own.
