Urwelcome..Yeah the Dealerships need to have that kind of information Available to there customers..and just a heads up..you will have to call customer service at the end of the year to see where they are at with the software upgrade..All I could get was a Approximate answer from them..
I think dealerships barely know anything about the EVs that they sell and even less about CCS charging at Tesla Superchargers.
It is important to know that Kia, Hyundai and Genesis vehicles cannot currently charge at Tesla Superchargers, except at Tesla MagicDock stalls. MagicDocks are very rare in most parts of the country. Bringing your own adapter to a non-MagicDock will not work on a Kia, at this time.

EA's 150 kW charger can actually give you 160-180 kW because of the car's 800-volt system. This means less current flows, so you're less likely to hit the charger's 150 kW limit.
As for Tesla, it's usually more expensive to charge there than at EA. And a lot of Tesla owners use an adapter to use EA's fast chargers.
So, unless Tesla changes things, EA will still be the better choice. Plus, Tesla's charging network doesn't support 800 volts yet, so you're limited to 100 kW by the car's DC-DC converter.
All true. The problem is that EA installations are typically much smaller (# of stalls) than tesla supercharger locations. Not only smaller, but there is a much higher chance that one or more of those limited EA stalls will be out of service or unusable. This is truly unfortunate. It appears that EA may not care so much, otherwise they would have done something about this situation which has existed for well over a year.
