You’re correct! The euro version is being built in South Korea to step around tariffs. I also see that even though it’s still 400v it’s using an NMC battery vs LFP.

And cross fingers this revision actually includes Digital Key 2.0 and NFC

 

It only has 81.4kWh capacity instead of 88.1kWh. I'm happy to trade the extra 7kWh for a less functional centre console.

I've taken a look at the UK spec'd versions, and Digital Key 2.0 + fingerprint recognition is indeed included in the higher spec'd versions

 

Surprising to see that none of the UK versions have AWD at this stage. That was on my 'must have' list because of where we live.

 

To be fair there is not a lot of places where you really need AWD in the UK compared to some of our overseas members countries.

It is a nice thing to have but for many years in the past cars in the UK were mainly RWD for FWD with some AWD drive cars on the top end models.

Over the years AWD has become more popular and more common but mostly not needed.

 

Reading between the lines, it looks like the FWD versions are being released first, with the AWD versions being released later.

Here in Canada, we will most likely get both the AWD and FWD versions together, and thus our later release date in 2026
