Just took delivery of my GT-Line RWD and I saw there was an OTA update available. I hit update and I get this. That sounds like it wants a USB device. Can I download the update somewhere to put on a USB?
I have this same question as well. It’s looking for a usb, I don’t think OTA is available yet.View attachment 2305

Which is funny because the infotainment literally says OTA available and has an update button.I have this same question as well. It’s looking for a usb, I don’t think OTA is available yet.
Yes it does. There’s a Kia website to get the files from. I just don’t remember the link. Think it’s just for the infotainment.
@ElevenEleven did the GT-line come with auto dimming mirror and homelink?
just update above post with link.Yes it does.
It's Over The usb-A. 😏It sounds like their definition of OTA just means you can do it yourself and don't need to have the dealer's service tech update it.
Don’t most of us use wifi at home for our laptops or what not? So downloading to a USB over wifi is OTA 🤣It's Over The usb-A. 😏
Sure but this is clearly not OTA - close but no. From a comparison standpoint imagine if you had to put a disc or usb into your laptop in order to update it. We used to have to do that before OTA came to computers.Don’t most of us use wifi at home for our laptops or what not? So downloading to a USB over wifi is OTA

Then they probably shouldn't literally say that there is in the GUI lolI have confirmed with KIA support that there is NOT an OTA available for the EV.
