I don't know the answer, but I hate sunroofs, totally useless IMO, better off with solar panel on top.
I'm sure all the trims will have the standard size room as an option. The much larger sunroof will only come on the IONIQ 5 as an option. However, what I find inconsistent with both models is the availability of driver-side ceiling grab handels with the sunroof. Some sunroof models have them while others don't. Maybe they come with some sort of luxury package?Hello all,
Just put a deposit down on an EV6 here in CanadaI was wondering whether anyone has information regarding a panoramic glass roof for the EV6. The Ioniq 5 marketed theirs quite ferociously, but it's pretty quiet on the EV6 front.
Based on pics, seems like only the GT has a 1/2 glass roof. Seems strange that other trims, such as the GT-line do not have any, let alone a small sunroof.
Pano = IONIQ 5
Hey - congratulations on the deposit!Hello all,

I prefer a smaller sunroom that opens than a large glass roof that doesn’t.Pano = IONIQ 5
Small operational sunroof = EV6
My current CX-5 has a smaller sunroof, very happy with it. The Cherokee before had a pano roof and felt it was a little too much "bling" for me. I like things to be simple.I prefer a smaller sunroom that opens than a large glass roof that doesn’t.
Tend to agree, a solar roof is far more usefulI don't know the answer, but I hate sunroofs, totally useless IMO, better off with solar panel on top.
Welcome to the forum @Al07! I solar roof would be neat but I've always been skeptical about whether or not they make that big of a difference on car's range.Tend to agree, a solar roof is far more useful
if they provide the option, like they do for the Ioniq5, I'll probably buy one !
yeah.. sure ..if you live in Scotland, it's a bit hard to justify it 😉Welcome to the forum @Al07! I solar roof would be neat but I've always been skeptical about whether or not they make that big of a difference on car's range.
Although a solar roof is more useful and will add range, what we actually get won't be that much, but it's something. The 2021 Sonata Hybrid for example gets 2 miles more a day thanks to its roof.Tend to agree, a solar roof is far more useful

I agree, fools of things sunroofs. Hope the first addition can option it out. Soale panels heavy and tiny wattage generally.I don't know the answer, but I hate sunroofs, totally useless IMO, better off with solar panel on top.
At Aylmer Kia in Quebec. For $500. In Ontario they’ll want to charge you more ($1000) with no guarantees. In QC they’re mandated by law (from what I’ve been told) to keep it down to $500 and it to be fully refundable at any point.Hey - congratulations on the deposit!
From Canada as well and I am curious how/where you were able to put down a deposit?
Here in Denmark I have the possibility to order sunroof to all trim-levels. It's sadly not a panoramic roof, but a standard sunroof, that retracts on top of the roof. Hope it does not make to much noise when open.Hello all,
