Hi all. I picked up my beautiful red ev6 a couple of weeks ago. Connected my hawei p20 phone both via Bluetooth and cable when i want android auto. When i make a call i can hear the other person loud and clear but they cannot hear me. Tried loading and unloading my phone etc all to no avail. Any suggestions welcome

That’s a new one Paul.

I suggest that you borrow someone’s phone and try that to rule out an issue with the car.

Are you in South Lakes? (Just looking at your user name…)
Or an issue with the cable your using.
My wifes phone works fine, Samsung a70 but my phone works with all my other vehicles and motorcycle head set. My phone also worked perfectly with our last car. Hard wiring the phone for Android auto works great to music audio books and maps etc but still problems with phone calls.
Sorry not in South Lakes, Peak District UK😁

If the cable works with a different phone without issues then it will be two things, the car is not compatible with your phone or your phone settings are not compatible with the car.

Must admit this is the first time I have read this issue, maybe plug your phone and cable into your dealers demo car and see if it works, if it does not then you know.
Thanks for the reply i will speak with my dealer and let you know

Ok and the good news is, i spoke to hawei technical help who talked me through a reset of the Bluetooth on my phone and now all seems in harmony with the ev6 and as an extra benefit my phone has deleted all the hire vehicles i have had when I had a job that took me all over the world, i dont miss hours in an aluminium tube lol

Good news.
The phone connection in the Kia EV6 works fine for me... however! the volume level of an incoming call - the person I'm talking with isn't very loud... even if I crank-up the volume on the steering wheel, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable different in volume... Strange! I'm still experimenting at the moment, but can't quite put my finger on it. Has anyone else experienced this... more importantly, how to increase the volume between the driver and calling party.... "Sorry, can you speak up a little... you're very faint, I can barley hear you"

Many thanks... Pedro.
