I'm looking forward to and about curious the fittings and specs. I live in Utah and it's snowing for most of this week, so this will be an opportunity to see if the Heat pump work as advertise to maintain the allotted mileage? Our original choice was the matt grey, but after learning about the upkeep, we changed our minds and was lucky enough to find a dealer with an order cancellation, not the GT model which we wanted, but the Wind AWD. I also learned that the GT model don't have a ship date, so everyone(dealers) are guessing when the orders will arrive. that was a huge disappointment. I'm hoping that all the complaints are just new version issues, if not I'll hold out until the EV9 comes out and trade-in my EV6. However, we are going to do that anyway, because it JUST LOOKS SO COOL!

Looking forward to your updates about the heat pump.
Good luck and do not forget the photos.
Update, since I got my Black EV6 AWD. It's been 2400 miles and I must say, this is an amazing vehicle, the regenerative braking at Lvl3 in eco mode works very well, Charging at 80% 280 miles at 100% 340.. I'm not sure if I was lucky or Kia makes one hell of a vehicle. I'm heavy foot driver not a big sports car fan, more on the truck side, I bought this vehicle for my wife and to save on gas, but I must say this is one sweet ride. It took a bit to change the settings to my driving but after it was done, I love this car.

Okay, lets get down to it,
Pros: Drivability, The vehicle handles very well on dry and wet roads. The safety assist is a huge plus and the ability to shift modes on the fly is absolutely smooth. my kids love sports mode, my wife doesn't, which means I love it. Seating is very comfortable in the front and back. It's a bit too quiet, this is from a truck guy. it would be nice to have the ability to choose custom driving sounds ( i.e. Night rider theme or Star wars:)

Cons: I had to turn off lane assist to alert only. The lane assist is bit too aggressive. Our lane marks are not the best and some are faded which I think confuses the lane assist, plus the lane assist only seems to function at certain speeds. The drive assist does not work on curves or lower speeds :( The steering wheel is awkward, feel like a golf cart steering wheel, should be angled towards the driver slightly. The speed meter should be in the center of the console, I drive with my left hand at the top of the steering wheel and I have to move my hand to see my speed ( a bit of a distraction, takes focus off of driving, rather than quick look down with my eyes).

Other things: There should be a light at the charging connector for night time connection, (can't see crap).
If you are buying a black version of the EV6, be aware, you should get the car ceramic coated ($1200 appx) and finger prints what a pain in the butt.. you will get a lot of finger prints all over the outside of the car, just keep plush towel to wipe as you go.. ( all for the love and beauty of the Car).
I'm not going to get into software, at least until I have more time with the car, but so far so good.

Finally, I was looking forward to buying a Rivian, but thanks to their pricing screwup I found, the best economical and practical EV, I think on the Market today, Great job KIA you have made a believer of me, to bad you don't do trucks. I highly recommend the EV6 to anyone who may have doubts, you will not be disappointed.

Note: I got a home charge installed (Grizzle E Avalanche edition) 40 amps 240, works flawlessly, no special Bluetooth or wireless comms, I use the car the schedule charging and prep for use..bytheway I charge only once a week and we use the car everyday. Note: no less the 20% or above 80% and once a month 100%..
