Almost everyone has the same issue. Kia is aware of the issue ordering . No ETA that I'm aware of
@tomwickland Nothing cynical or derogatory but if you go back and review posts, some of us have been commenting about Kia's business style (or at least bad communications). Yes some have in one way or another defended, but reading between the lines from past feedback or comments from the UK side ..i e reports of over subscription, how could we not have anticipated the bottom line. Your visit or conversation with district manager may have helped. I sent a note up as well, hopefully todays response (or lack thereof) is not indicative of future O&M since it is otherwise still a good company. Not a naysayer, I released any anxiety the night before went with the e-GMP cousins. Good luck with your order."Your Vehicle Booking is not completed due to some reasons.. please try Again."
- I’ve spent over 5 hours trying to pre-order the EV6.
- I've tried different browsers on my computer.
- I've tried different browsers on my iPhone.
- I spoke with Kia technical support. They experience the same problems I've had. They suggested I keep trying.
- For the first few hours the website would not allow me to select a dealership, a required part of the pre-ordering.
- Later, the website allowed me to complete that section and finally select "Reserve Now with Your Payment."
- Alas the next screen always says,
- The punctuation and capitalization errors are consistent.
- I just left the local Kia dealership. The person who helped me, his manager, and the district manager we're all unable to place a pre-order.
- Has anyone had any luck pre-ordering?
- Does anyone have any suggestions?
I saw where one member here said that he got his reservation done! He posted his zip code (Ohio area) and I even tried it with no success."Your Vehicle Booking is not completed due to some reasons.. please try Again."

I wouldn't feel guilty, instead good for you. No pain no gain, hope the remaining 1499 have similar results! Enjoy your purchase and post picsNow I feel guilty. I went on when the reservations first opened (opened a couple minutes late) and was hoping there would be info on the other models as well as I wasn't as interested in the First Edition. As there was no mention, I decided to wait it out to see if the First Edition would sell out and more info would show up. I went back on just before noon PST and First Edition were still open for reservations so I reserved one. Took less than a minute to complete the reservation a paid and received an e-mail confirmation almost immediately. I am reservation #2991 (assuming they go in order).
May I ask what color combination you chose? Now I feel guilty. Congrats Bronco7777!Yes. Got in today and reserved one for my wife. White Glacier with Black/Green Interior. We chose the charger as the freebie. View attachment 223
I just got the one (Glacier White). I'm targeting the Fisker Ocean for myself next year. As for the reservations I think many were turned off by the price coming in at $58,500; when up to now most have marketed this car in the 45K to 50K range. That reservation issue last week didn't help either. I almost walked away myself because of Kia's terrible communication and customer service issues. This is not just a knee jerk reaction to last Tuesday's snafu. I can speak to this firsthand as I've been an Optima owner for the past 10 years and their customer service is awful. I'm mainly doing the EV6 because my wife is in love with the look of the car and I was hoping to give Kia one more chance as they venture into a new electrical era. But so far the start has been rocky IMO. I still might back out if the dealership tries to tack on additional charges upon delivery. Heck, if this new tax credit goes through a Model Y will definitely be more worthwhile. But for now I made sure to at least keep my name in the hat. Just in case. However, what I just described is what I feel many others are struggling with when it comes to moving forward with the EV6. It looks sexy and promising but can you really see yourself paying 60K+ for a Kia if you're not getting the 576hp GT?Congrats Bronco7777!
Did you end up with two? It was so much easier today. In fact I think that they added hundreds to the 1500, or else like I said earlier, they aren’t being grabbed up.
Maybe that mess last week was a ploy?
Anyway, as of right now though you can still reserve an EV6. A friend just did one ten minutes ago so….
There were bumps. And from my communications with Kia America corporate, I think they were on Kia’s end. But reservations could, eventually, get made.Any luck today?
Or they didn't get the 1500? Think I mentioned this before but I recall VW reported "sold out" of their 1st Edition ID.4, yet some remain available on lots and as testers.I can’t believe that you can still “join the waitlist” as of this morning, Wednesday June 9th! It looks the same as a regular reservation to me.
On the Tesla, my wife and I drove the Model Y dual motor. It’s super fast and fun to drive.
It blows the Mach E away, but of course I didn’t test drive the GT model and I’m sure that it’s much faster.
I’m going to drive an ID4 today as a matter of fact. It’s a First Edition too! $46,000Or they didn't get the 1500? Think I mentioned this before but I recall VW reported "sold out" of their 1st Edition ID.4, yet some remain available on lots and as testers.
