So far, I've been very pleased. I predicted the GT would be slightly more efficient than my C40 based on what I was seeing, and was correct. I drove my C40 home on many of the same highways as I did my EV6 GT, and it averaged @37kwh/100mi. Converted, my GT averaged @36kwh/100mi (2.9mi/kwh). Everything about the car is excellent, but the efficiency is the real easter-egg. I've been driving it in MyDrive with SPORT+ as the setting for the motors, and in 30-40*f weather, without preconditioning, I am averaging 2.5mi/kwh (40kwh/100mi), whereas again, my C40 was typically in the low 40's.
That's pretty good for those temps. I'm assuming still on stock tires? The best I did (I have lots of hills, valleys, mountains) was 3.0 on a 55 mile round trip. My drive is always brutally honest in terms of efficiency as I end up on the top of a mountain at 1400FT.

Someone else running similar settings to mine in My Drive. Maybe you can answer what is the difference between ort and Sport+ for motor settings as cannot find it described anywhere. Congrats on the new vehicle, it is indeed sublimely elegant.

Really, I wouldn't put much stock in any kind of efficiencies measured when it's that cold. The HVAC alone can cause large amounts of variation. Ideally, no HVAC running, dry pavement and controlled temperatures (aka) the same temps between runs or variables.
Large is putting it mildly. I am seeing it in 20-30% of energy usage range on my commute, set auto1 @ 70*

Sport is Sport mode, Sport+ is GT mode. Significantly more power. Sport=Normal+throttle sensitivity adjustment I'd guess. SPORT+=GT.

Input from one who had the GT long enough for the experimental begining to have settled and the picture of a actual long term average to show 😉

248Wh/km is my overall average ~ 300km/185mi
300Wh/km is worst I can get on public road on a full charge ~ 230km/150mi (mostly 130km/h speed limit)
205Wh/km is my best trip average staying off the motorways ~350km/230mi.

All above on 21" winters, temps around freezing, climate on auto(1) 22°C. 95% in normal drive mode rest in GT.

Thank you for the input. Another poster also replied saying this fell off at 60% SOC ( perhaps he meant 70% as in maximal output mode?) but cannot say that I have really appreciated this in daily use, perhaps as have not really pushed maximal output mode at all. Thank you for the clarification as could not find a description of Sport + anywhere.

Sport also locks AWD (as does GT mode). Eco and normal the AWD will drop off and car runs RWD if you are stead speed cruising, sport supposedly does not though I will check that in a few minutes.

Highest output I have noticed in GT without preconditioning is 370kW @ 89% charge so around 60kW off spec.

Regarding AWD in normal, I have noticed that AWD is always on at motorway speed (130km/h ish) in normal mode. Also when load is very low.

Correctly assumed. We have many hills in my area but in DK end up being mostly flat.

Climate on auto 21-22°C. Outside 7°C. App says 10% was used on climate.
those must be some efficient winter tires! If I did my calculations right you are at 3.4 miles per kWh… That’s fantastic for the GT. My personal best (on stocks) was 3.0 miles per kWh at 48 degrees, some HVAC use and all Eco and very efficient driving but LOTS of terrain and I end on a mountain after the 54 mile loop.

I did some testing yesterday and unfortunately it is pointing me to believe the dash mi/kw readout is less than accurate which honestly is extremely disappointing as it made for what seemed like an easy reference for efficiency when altering tires/wheels.

I ran 4 different sets of wheels/tires. every one of them showed me 2.9mi/kw. However based on actual start and end PackWh versus miles, the actual numbers ranged 2.96-3.57mi/kw. It was a rare day with very little in the way of temp change (5* total start to finish) and traffic pretty much let me run @60mph without issue. The second run I did is what caught my attention as it was a package I used in Dec that netted me extremely good range, but showed same mi/kw on dash as a sticky set. But running the actual wh as well as the % used showed me they had been more efficient. Talking a solid 1% SOC better over as short as a 15 mi run.

Weather is really wacky today so not going to be a good day for testing again. PNW weather in winter is terrible for this sort of thing as no consistency and changed by the hour.

I will say as follow up however that while I was skeptical before, I now believe that tire plays a larger role in the GT's loss of range than anything else. That is based on the fact that a WIDER wheel and tire package that pokes out of fenders and is open faced for higher drag, significantly out performed the other wheel and tire combo's because the tires on it were old worn and hard so less RR.

The exact same wheel with a fresh set of the same model tire in a narrower width, lost .55mi/kw and those runs were back to back. The RR of a tire really is a huge factor on EV range, more than wheel diameter, or wheel face design.

Had a longer ride on backroads today, with the wife as codriver = no GT fun. And it was dry and warmer than usually. Result 184wh/km or damn near 400km on a charge 🤯
That's amazing - that's what I want to hear :) that's pushing 260 miles (even thought it's driven in "carrying a fishtank" mode (which is what my advanced instructor always said to imagine ;-) ))
Ads in the UK are still quoting up to 263 miles as the headline - so it sounds like this is in the realms of technically possible, but very rare.

Basically for local driving i care more about the fun over the range, the but one trip I'd like to be able to do on one charge (or at least know I can) is 209 miles from the Scottish lowlands to my parents in the highlands. The 263 made me feel this car was suitable, but then the 206 rating started coming out, and it's niggled me. The reality is, the times when I'd want >209 range would be if there is an emergency, but that's exactly when the car would get a lot less (slightly more "urgent" driving). I'm just going to have to live with that and rely on the faster charging.

I'll just add a note here to say that if any drivers are inclined to start a google sheet or something and stick in the numbers for any test runs (including temp if available, and tyre info), i'd be happy to try and visualise the outcomes and predictions once there is enough data

I am starting one with my testing. The biggest issue comparing honestly is how huge small things can affect results. Specially in short test runs I have done. You also need to note HVAC as it can be a significant energy eater. Tire pressure also needs notation as well as rain/wet/dry roads. I am finding tire rr/friction has a much greater role on range than wheel aero.

I will caution everyone that I am finding the mi/kw on dash to be innaccurate. I have started using carscanner to capture bms data. The doc on dash is accurate in it's way, though it differs from bms doc.

These are 3 screenshots from my morning drive. To give some ideas. Manual calc shows me 4.94-5.05mi/kw. Dash says 4.1. weekend testing it showed 2.9 all runs, but actual showed 2.9-3.6
