Can someone please explain the kia registration process. Does it mean you are just showing an interest, or is a deposit required and you commit to some kind of contract?
I'm interested in the GT variant and read on another forum that someone registered for the GT - my understanding is that the GT isn't available until early 2023.

You can reserve with a deposit, my dealer wants a 500 pounds deposit.

They will allow you to reserve and if and when they get a demo car, if you do not like the car you get the deposit back.

I would expect the GT version with all the delays to be mid 2023.
