I doubt Kia will buy back the car over a minor flaw that does not impact the operation of the rear hatch. I’m sure there will be a fix for this issue. The car is relatively new and service departments are still learning about the car.If you read the post by others one shop did loosen the 4 bolts and adjusted it and got on the phone with Kia tech line for more advice. The body shop manager at my dealer would not touch it and stated "it is a mass produced car not a Bentley". I really do not trust them to do anything now. I complained to Kua Premier Customer service and they are contacting EDC to initiate a buyback. Would you be happy if yours looked like that, I am not and also the dealers response.
