How fast are you allowed to go on your test drive?
HiJust had a call from my dealer, they have the exact model I ordered (GT Line S) in White and I'm booked in for this Tuesday for 1 hour.
Actually really looking forward to it. Sadly I'm changing the order from Matt Grey to White and will push back delivery a bit.
Anything I should test that you all want me to look out for? I'll add it to my list.
See the below video review.... he shows (a significant amount of) regen from high speeds, and the in-dash display indicates regen from both axles. He does also show how the display indicates that only the rear axle is active in eco mode, but I can't remember if he brakes while in eco mode...Can the EV6 regen from both motors in Normal or Sport mode?
And if so, is it more beneficial to drive in normal or sport mode in mountainous driving to take advantage of stronger regen from both motors?
Thanks! I do remember watching this one and he said he got 230kW of regen and that the first time he slowed down, it was all regen via i-Pedal; he didn’t have to touch the brake. That is impressive. He does seem to know the the front motor can be disconnected. (either in this video or the other one he made on the first drive).See the below video review.... he shows (a significant amount of) regen from high speeds, and the in-dash display indicates regen from both axles. EDIT: I just scanned through the video, and I can't find the part that I remember. Maybe I've mixed up a couple of different reviews (I've watched so many). But I do remember a review where they show the front axel kicking in during regen. The youtuber ponders whether or not the additional regen offsets the efficiency loss of adding the front motor.
Gordi555, yes, please! Could you check to see whether the GT Line S has some sort of garage door opener built-in (Homelink here in the US). I have a US-market First Edition on order which I understand is close to the GT Line S trim level but I was told by my dealer here that the First Edition MAY not have it. Any confirmation would be greatly appreciated.Just had a call from my dealer, they have the exact model I ordered (GT Line S) in White and I'm booked in for this Tuesday for 1 hour.
