They show off the GT, of course, because everybody is gonna spend 80k on it, and everybody wants a car that does 0 to 60 in 3.5 secs.
Car shows are always unrealistic, always have to show off the top of the line.

in europe (to be correct in germany and the netherlands) they showed the base with dual motors videos that give you a better impression

I like how they painted black trim over the wheel. But I'm not crazy about the Recaro-like seats since you can't adjust the headrests.

so you should go for the gt-line... you get the coloured wheel arch trim and the adjustable headrests... take a look here The Kia EV6 Electric Car | Kia Motors UK ...... scroll down to the second last segment, choose gt line and then take a look at the interior (360 view)

Thank you, yeah I saw that but I'm just skeptical about the price and if the software is capable of finding the nearest charging station. We have Electrify America as the main utility to use. So far it's a little buggy.

I'll just get the base long-range AWD and not look above the wheels

the base lr awd comes in black, too, so those wheel arch lines would be colour-keyed

The guy recording the first video (above) at the car show couldn't open two of the doors... Doesn't speak well for those recessed door handles...

I don't understand the reluctance of Kia to show the rear cargo area and hatch door in these videos...

I believe Nissan will make a smaller EV than the Aryia, hopefully, it will be Juke in size. Europeans are lucky to get the Juke. I used to have the first generation when it came out and sad Nissan didn't bring the new one here. The press wasn't that friendly to it when it came out, but that was the reason I got it. I wonder how the US press will treat the EV6 or IONIQ 5.
