Understand, I have the GT and discount tire just ruined the OEM wheels when I had winter tires installed. Now they owe me a new set. They are only willing to pay $1200. They said either I can find aftermarket rims or take $1200. They are only willing to pay me $300.00 per wheel. Someone on Ebay is selling a set for about $2000 I think.

Mike @ [email protected] can hook you up. 19x8.5 +42 is what I did. Just give him my username and he should be able to get you a killer deal.

On another note. Have them get a quote from the dealer and explain how in the world they value it at $1200? Hate to hear that happened to you .

Thanks....problem is a company that does wheel repair for Discount said they can re-cut the wheels for $250 - 300 per wheel. I'm traveling on Thursday next week to Sugarhill GA, to have a hitch installed on the GT. If we can somehow make a deal, I can drive to your place on the way home and pick up the wheels/tires. If the wheels are in great condition, I can bump up my offer a little bit and of course I would pay cash. At least think about it. Sorry but I'm hoping that your new wheel/tire set didn't cost you anything since the company was taking advantage of their opportunity to try out a new product (at least that's what I got from reading your original thread message). BTW, I'm doing the same thing with the Hitch company in GA.

I wish. Unfortunately I don't meet the "influencer" status needed for free wheels. I'll have to sell quite a few sets for them to even care honestly. Was just trying to help people find a lightweight alternative and will do a post on them if it'll ever stop raining and changing from 30 to 80 degrees one day to the next. I really hate you're in such a bad situation, but unless I took the wheels apart and just sold them by theirselves, I couldn't come down that low. I ultimately was hoping an insurance company or similar would reach out for a replacement or someone bring me $2500 cash or something, but at this rate I'm not having near the luck I did with MachE wheels when I owned it.
