For UK only members (sorry!) - Has anyone seen any delays from the quoted 30 weeks from KIA on deliveries in the UK?
I ordered my EV6 GT Line S in Glacier White with additional Heat Pump and Puddle Lamps on 03 March 2022 with the delivery quoted as last week of September or Early October 2022 from KIA in Southampton.
I was in the dealership this week and they just said there no updates on progress!
Thank you and happy driving

Plenty here about delivery times if you search.

I am very surprised you were quoted 30 weeks from an order this March, especially that spec. A year seems to be more typical on orders since Jan this year.

My more or less identically specced car ordered early Dec 21 is now anticipated in Q4 according to Kia UK. I'd expect it to come before yours!

Not sure your dealer was being totally straight, or just very, very optimistic.

I ordered my car a couple of weeks after you, dealer said Q1 2023 most likely March, but he did say this could quite easily be longer or if your very lucky a few weeks earlier.
He pointed out that Kia went from monthly predictions to quarterly from Feb 2022 onwards and no dealer or lease company will get notified of status until a build date is given by the factory.
I think expectations of a Sept/Oct delivery on a March order is very optimistic in the extreme, especially now Matte Grey has been removed... But hope your dealer is right for your sake.

You will not get any progress until the car is in build, this is the annoying thing with Kia, you just do not now if and when it will be built.

Must feel like Christmas Eve 😆
No not really, with all the lets downs and late delivery and promises all the excitement has all gone.

Just waiting for the dealer to call to say there is an issue.

Would just be my luck.

I can understand the pessimism after all the false dawn's and broken promises, but like everything in life, there is light at the end of the tunnel, I know this from personal life experiences.
I really hope you're excitement returns when you finally drive off the lot, I will be hoping it does for you

No update as yet on my order now that 3 months has elapsed, however, I did have a Tesla previously on order in October 2021 and gave up in March 2022 when I ordered the KIA as Tesla stated March 2025 for Model X!!

When i ordered GTLS in FEb 2022 my dealer also said 30 weeks.

It then pushed back to September than "Q4 2022"

Earlier this week they emailed to say "no news on your car"

I would consider myself "lucky" if the car arrives before end of year. 12 months lead time for this spec seems likely.

I ordered a GTLS AWD with Heat Pump on 21-Nov-21 and latest from dealer is delivery August or earlier (?) but looking at cars delivered 12 months seems about right so I expect delivery sometime in Q4:(

Thanks Ian, has the dealer updated you or did you get this info elsewhere please?
My understanding is that KIA notify you when the car goes into build and nothing seems to be forthcoming before this key milestone in their process.
Thank you and Happy Driving

I told him at the time i thought 30 weeks was optimistic, since Nickel trading had just been suspended. He rang after a month to say 2023 and rang a few days ago to say no more news.
He then told me that a cancellation got sold to someone else =(

I ordered my EV6 GT Line S in Blue with an additional Heat Pump on 20th November 2021 From Arnold Clark Kia Edinburgh with the delivery quoted as of December 2021 I was then told March 2022
Now could be July 2022 / Feb 2023. I have seen quite a few running around. Very frustrating. It looks like by the time I get the car I will have had two children put them, through school and university. and probably remarried Come on get the dealers to inform the customers, not the customers to call the dealers
