I tried the example you gave me and it worked perfectly showing all the details for that car.
Unfortunately, it throws up some errors with the EV6 VIN, showing only very basic information. Perhaps it isn’t set to recognise UK cars.
Or maybe the database needs some time to update.
US VIN is not the same as European VIN for sure. A table was posted at this forum a while ago (I just can't find it now. Not easy to search for) and what the numbers and letters meant in that one cannot relate to "ours" here in Europe. If I recall I would be receiving an AWD and not RWD according to the number.
The VIN decoder linked to here will give me errors aswell.

1-4: Looking a little at the Vin numbers it always start with KNAC.
5: Then 3 or 4 which has to be the trim level. 3 is the Exclusive here and 4 is the GT-Line. GT-Line here in Norway is the S in the UK at least.
6-7: The next two seems to always be 81.
8: And then it's a A. B or C. A seems to be RWD, 77KWh battery, B may be RWD 58KWh and C AWD 77KWh.
9: F or P, and no idea. May be where it's sold.F being here up north and P somewhere else. It's not heat pump or not.
10: Not seen any other than N.
11: Always 5.
12-17: Serial number. I wonder if this is worldwide or per area. Lowest I¨ve seen is in the 5xxx series which has been both customer cars, imports and demos. Highest so far is the VIN for our car (Crossing my fingers, still not delivered to us), 21xxx.

Possibly the GT that was used for the launch videos of the FE?

I also updated my previous message so people wouldn't use the old US VIN decoder.

VIN decoder & lookup - Vindecoderz listed my car with the wrong trim level and then takes you to a site to pay for a report.

This thread gives you a free VIN decoder from this Forum. First post gives you all the decoding for UK/Europe. Tried and tested and proved to be accurate. Why confuse the issue? All that's needed is a quick search before posting!
