My 2022 EV6 GT line had software version CV_E.USA.55W_M.V013.010.241120, when I took it to the dealer for a recall. When I got it back, it had software version CV_E.USA.55W_M.V012.010.240822. It seems that, for some reason, an older version was installed. Was there something wrong with the 241120 version, that required them to install the 240822 version? What is the latest functional software update version?

That's interesting--typically, dealers will not (if not refuse to) perform infotainment updates if you ask them to do so but instead tell you to either wait for the update to arrive OTA (if subscribed to Kia Connect Ultimate) or tell you to download it off the web and install it via USB stick yourself.
As to why they would apparently "downgrade" the infotainment version on your vehicle...your guess is as good as mine.
IIRC though, I think there was some issue with routing on the 241120 version, hence why it's no longer available for download from Kia's website or their map download tool.
