i usually buy the "chrome"-version with the biggest engine. so this would be the base ev6 with the long range battery and dual motors
well. i dont know about the us-prices. in germany the base standard range rwd starts at 45000 euros. the gt line with long range battery is about 55000 euros and the gt starts at 65000 euros. to give you an impression of the prices. a stinger gt starts at 58000 euros.I really want the GT so I hope it isn't ridiculously priced.
The 2022 Stinger GT1 starts at $43,690 here (USD). Though I don't know how similar of a spec that is to the 57.900€ version in Germany. There's also the GT2 which starts at $51,290. If the ratios stay similar that puts the EV6 GT at $49-57.5k. That also lines up with the pricing required to undercut the Model 3 Performance. If it ends up around $55k that will be incredibly attractive. Though even sub-$65k is probably going to be tempting. $75-80k would be a hard-sell.well. i dont know about the us-prices. in germany the base standard range rwd starts at 45000 euros. the gt line with long range battery is about 55000 euros and the gt starts at 65000 euros. to give you an impression of the prices. a stinger gt starts at 58000 euros.
plus you only (at least in europe) only get 5 colours with gt and gt line, whereas the base gives you a far bigger choice of coloursAWD extended range model, 0 to 60 in the low 5's is good enough, I was thinking GT, but it will cost too much and will get me in trouble.
You might be in luck: There could be a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N on the wayI like the ioniq looks the most but want performance of gt.
Yeah i saw that but I’m not sure It’d arrive this yearYou might be in luck: There could be a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N on the way
True, I also expect it will not be available this year if it hasn't even been officially announced. Though I'm not sure the EV6 GT will be made available by the end of this year either.Yeah i saw that but I’m not sure It’d arrive this year
Welcome @MystaI, too, am curious about the Genesis. I like the ioniq looks the most but want performance of gt. But mostly want it this year for a trip in February next year (or I probably would have went with Rivian)
Funny enough I’m also cross shopping cross turismo. If i do Kia/Genesis/hyundai I’ll probably go as much sport and luxury i canWelcome @Mysta
Are you also looking EVs from other automakers?
How are you hoping to spec the EV you'll end up going with?
The GV60 really is a wild card here because despite it being spotted testing Genesis hasn't really acknowledged its existence. Hopefully Genesis actually reveals it in June.I, too, am curious about the Genesis. I like the ioniq looks the most but want performance of gt. Indeed, if it wasn't so far out I would love it most likely. I would consider GV70/80 if they were EV(and I know they have EV versions planned but rather have a dedicated EV.The GV60 really is a wild card here because despite it being spotted testing Genesis hasn't really acknowledged its existence.
