Under current plans, the sale of new petrol and diesel cars will be banned from 2030, so why aren't we seeing Electric Emergency Vehicles on our roads?

Any of you seen an electric police vehicle lately?

Less than 8 years away, do you think 2030 is achievable?

How are you finding EV range, and refueling?

Are there already too many different apps to download, just in case you need access to charges on your travels. Would the one, access all app, be better?

One major reason why.

Costs.

As soon as the costs come down then there will be more electric vehicles for the emergency services.

With the costs involved your not going to see them overnight.

Also some vehicles like a Fire Engine will need a huge battery pack to pull the weight of the vehicle around and the costs would be very high for that truck.
