My EV9 Gt-line is fairly aggressive on charging the 12v, I always see the light on, compared to the ev6 which is hardly ever on. Even before I activated and setup everything the light was on. So I wonder if those are signs of a failing battery or there's lots of drain on it. Best to just upgrade to an Ohmmu battery.

Can I ask you where the light is located? I want to know how often 12V is being charged.

Oh I thought that's the update button, it's off the moment I turned on the engine, is that going to be a problem since I interrupt the charging process?
Not at all, it will always be charging while car is on, even in utility(camping) mode. So if you feel your 12v is low turn on utility mode to force a charge while car is off.

And of course, this OTA update just came out today: OTA Software Update Release Notes It looks the same as the advisory posted on this forum that you would have to go to the dealer to obtain: https://www.kiaevforums.com/attachm...m/attachments/tsb-ele330-iccu-vcu-sw-upgrade-for-ewp-operation-sa560-pdf.19164/
