Got my ICCU update and iPedal brake light updates done on Monday and everything is working fine.

Try enabling and disabling blind spot monitoring within the infotainment system. Also maybe the greeting system (unfolding mirrors on approach) Maybe it'll reset them so you won't have to head to the dealer.

If you're comfortable doing it, you can also try disconnecting the 12V battery and leaving it unconnected for 10 minutes to reset things.

 

 

Solved! I disabled and re-enabled the blind spot assistance settings and it’s all back to normal! I had checked several times before to make sure they were turned on (they were), but it never occurred to me to try switching them off and back on.

 

Yea, I read somewhere on these forums that a quick enable/disable fixed someone's driver's seat assistance feature so I figured something similar might help you out.

Given OP's experience, I suppose the OCD approach might be to re-toggle each and every single setting so that it can then perhaps get "re-acknowledged/re-registered" by the infotainment system.

 

Maybe, but it seems like a pretty rare occurrence to have to spend all that time toggling every feature after every update. Just have to keep in mind resetting things through the infotainment can fix these kinds of issues.

 

When I went to the dealer for the ICCU update last week, I asked about any other updates and they told me only the ICCU came up under my VIN- I wonder why no others showed up? Purchased my 2023 GT in May 2023. Any ideas? What should I look for to see if I need more updates?

 

That recent of a build should already all the updates already installed.

I believe the only way to know if a TSB/service campaign update is installed is to get an obd2 reader and compare the firmware version of the ECU to the ones listed here:

However, the dealer system should know if that VIN has updates installed so if they say you don't need them, you won't need them.

 

I got the ICCU software update and when I started leaving the dealership, my wheel came off! That was before the welcome chime upon startup was changed to an expletive I can't share here.
