Thanks. I don't want the water to be absorbed into the seats, adding weight to an already heavy car. I would have to time the cleaning of my seats AFTER my street racing. I also don't eat anything either prior to living the fast and furious life... gotta keep the car lean. I wear jorts and and a muscle tank to keep the weight down, too, but that results in me sweating in the seats, which is why I asked about how to clean them in the first place.

Someone said they just wipe everything down with interior detailer since nothing on the seats is real leather.

 

I'm coming from the Mach E GT Performance which has similar suede material. I used a Dyson vacuum on them, and I used a Bissell deep carpet vacuum cleaner on it once. Both methods worked great depending on the amount of surface dirt.

That seems a little excessive, but if you have pets in the car, I can understand.

I'm looking at "Chemical Guys Sprayable Leather Cleaner and Conditioner" and it says it's also for vegan leather, and synthetic leather.

 

For cleaning vegan (fake leather) and fake Alcantara (polyester) seats, it is recommended to use mild soap and water solution or a non-abrasive, non-bleach, and non-ammonia-based cleaner.
