I see the easy way to get power to dash cams are people using this Dongar power adapter that you can plug into the rear view mirror.
Now thats pretty damn expensive for what it is. Couldn't we basically use some 12v to 5v converter and do the same thing and tap into the rear view mirror power/ground wires? Would this converter work?
Has anyone done what i'm talking about and found a super cheap 12v-5v converter to use in line?
