Hi Kia EV6 Family! Any updates on when these beautiful 2025 EV6's will be available?
Also will heat pump be available in all versions in the US? I saw that in UK that it was on in GT LineS? (I think)

Thanks!

I think the last word was first quarter? Maybe first half? I would be super surprised if they showed up before July.

Initially we were going to wait for one but I kind of didn't like the idea of getting the very first run out of a brand new factory.

It's pretty ridiculous. This article mentions a nearly $20k lease incentive to clear out 2024 GT trims before 2025s come out but no date on when actual 2025s come out.

The Georgia plant has been cranking out 2025 Ioniq 5’s with NACS ports for months now. A Georgia-built Ioniq 5 got a rave review for build quality on the YouTube channel Out of Spec Detailing. You Tube is full of great videos about the new Ioniq 5’s performance. They are charging on the Tesla network since January. A 2025 Ioniq 5 even outperformed a head-to-head charging contest with a new Tesla Model 3 on the Tesla Supercharger Network. The 135KW charge rate is less than the peak rate on the Tesla, but the Ioniq kept the rate flat for the overall win. I wonder what the problems are for sister company Kia, who seems stuck in 2024.

Seen on Reddit. A 2025 EV6 in Florida. No photo of the rear. Definitely a US model since it has the side reflector and side marker in the lights.

Looks like the model levels have changed. LT and GTL according to Kia's online search (some are LT and others are Wind?). However, looking at a window sticker, an LT is really 2025 EV6 LIGHT LR RWD.

Those front lights are even uglier than I thought. There is a design theory that's being pushed that edgy and non-conformist designs (ala Cybertruck) will cause immediate sales of a product because of the "newness" psychological demand rush found in humans. While this holds true for a hot second, humans will then be quick to dismiss it and settle back into their comfort zone of traditionality. This has been shown to be the case for car models going back to the 90s with the Ford Probe, Pontiac Aztek, etc., up through the Cybertruck. Hot initial sellers because they were different and then sales quickly dove. Kia's entire new lineup is banking on this theory. Combined with the drop in the EV sales rate in the US and removal of EV credits on the horizon, it does not look good for Kia.

Not sure if I saw this trick here or on Reddit. Have you used Kia.com to search for 2025's by altering the url? Search for EV6, the url says 'year=all' (it lies), change the url to be 'year=2025'. Found some about 150 miles from here (northern Virginia). (First post, been reading a lot, don't kill me if this is obvious. :) )
