I assume that's a Kia Connect only feature. My app updated over night but the Charge Pass still just shows the EA code.
Same here, it's either stuck behind the pay wall or maybe it's an iOS vs Android difference  (Running Android with Kia App v7.14.1

Never mind, looks like you found the solution :p

Yeah, weird. Not sure why the vehicle syncing was required, but glad it worked I guess. I still can't search for stations but not sure if this is because I don't have a Connect subscription or because I haven't setup Charge Pass with payment details and agreeing to terms...

We were assured the update and adapter would be available for 2022 Kia ev6 to charge at Tesla super chargers q1 of 2025. Any word on when we can do that? Road tripping is dead until that ability happens. EV after EV gets towed between Phoenix and southern cal on I-10 and I-8.
Happy to report that, by real world test, Tesla supercharging is working (at least for me!). BTW, using a Lectron adapter. This location worked briefly in January, then stopped working for many months and is now working again.

Unfortunately there was a Dunkin Donut nearby where I spent more money than the charging cost!

It looks like Kia access to Tesla Superchargers is official and not going anywhere this time! The Kia mobile app has been updated with a new "charge pass" which allows you to initiate charges through the app and Tesla is clearly listed as one of the charging network providers with realtime status information. And the Tesla app itself now lists Kia as a supported manufacturer!

Friendly reminder too - Kia says use of a non-approved NACS to CCS adapter could void your powertrain warranty. Realistically you'd have to have damage caused from charging at a NACS charger and they'd have to prove the 3rd party adapter caused the damage. I have both the A2Z and Lectron and they are great options with higher amperage ratings than the Kia oem one. For this one from A2Z, promo code TECHJEFF saves you some money too

Caveat--must be subscribed to Care, Plus, or Ultimate Kia Connect plans (either via free trial subscription or voluntarily paying for one); I'm on the Lite plan (which is the basic free plan) and the ability to search for DCFC locatoins via the Kia Access app is grayed out for me...and yes I'm on the latest iOS Kia Access app version (just downloaded it earlier today).

Edit/update--turns out that my Kia Connect account profile got screwed up in some weird way; once I removed and re-added my vehicle to my account and then reactivated Kia Connect in my vehicle I was then able to see the Kia Charge Pass option in the Kia Access app.

I'll also note that Tesla's website on NACS still doesn't list Kia. I assume the screenshot was somewhere in the app.
It is now LIVE at Tesla.com/NACS❗⚡🔌🔋

Woot woot! 🎉 Finally! It is exactly 99 days after January 15, 2025. 99 days late but finally - I am so excited!

Yup, Kia in their infinite wisdom decided that the ability to search for and select a DCFC location via their Kia Access app needs to be locked behind a paywall. Thankfully, unlike Kia Tesla does not resort to such shenanigans...

Imagine if Elon told Tesla EV owners that they had to pay a monthly/yearly fee in order to be able to search for a SC location via the Tesla app? If he isn't already hated enough these days...imagine the uproar if he implemented something like that to his own customers?

Works for me on my Android - I can search for and filter for DCFC without issue, and I am on the Lite plan. Are other people with iOS having the same restriction?

Yeah I saw a Reddit post from a user who had a screenshot of the Kia Charge Pass signup option...but that was in the Android version of the app; I can't find a similar option anywhere within the iOS version of the app. And now that I realize it, the option to input promo codes is no longer there in the current version of the iOS app AFAICT; I remember older versions had it because that's where you would input the promo code to activate the free 1000 kW EA charging...but on the current version it's no longer there.

So...any iOS folks seeing the same thing I'm reporting on...namely, no option to sign up for Kia Charge Pass within the iOS version of the Kia Access app?

iOS - it's there in the updated Kia Access from yesterday. The EA code is still there too.

I just installed the app on an old iPhone SE I had sitting around, and it looks exactly the same as my Android app. I have the Kia Charge Pass icon there. Not sure why yours isn't working.

Everyone, remember that you MUST use the Tesla app if you want to take advantage of the Tesla member subscription discount.

The subscription is $13/month but comes with a 25% charging discount like Electrify America. The breakeven point is 120 kWh or so -- that's about 2 DCFC sessions. EA's breakeven point is 50 kWh.

With the introduction of Kia charge, I'm assuming we'll eventually get plug and charge capabilities like Hyundai has enabled. Pre-refresh models will need to go to a dealer for a firmware update

Works fine on my iPhone. You have to sign up for Charge Pass with credit card and the charge is $0.
