How to prevent scratches on plastic trim?

As it turns out the plastic in the EV6 scratches and marks very easily. Has anyone used any covers or treatment to prevent scratches. I’ve found these anti-scratch felt covers on E-Bay that are out of Korea. They appear to be the same felt material that the inner door storage bends are made of. I am definitely going to need to protect the door, back seats and cargo side areas. Let me know your thoughts or things you have tried.

I think the best option is:
1) Don’t use piano black trim
2) Don’t touch the piano black trim
🤪🤣

I really don’t like the look of the fake carbon fiber, so I put gray faux wood grain on the console and doors and black felt on the kick-panels as in your last picture. The faux wood definitely, at least to me, makes the interior look “richer” than piano black.

The only thing with the panels is that they don’t have the passenger door lock cutout and they do have the rear seat heater cutout. Meh, to me as I don't have the AWD with rear heated seats. My wife doesn’t care about unlocking the door and I never sit in the back so I never see the extra hole. The sellers understand as they were made for Korean and AWD vehicles. They said they would let me know if they make different ones and might sell at a discount since I already bought. No big deal to me.

Both of my purchases are very much worth it.

I did not cover the hatch area as I don’t look at it every day. LOL

I agree, this is highly annoying. I noticed marks on the driver door card within the first week of ownership and had no idea what they were. So good solutions here but I'm not a fan of changing the look. The last ones doesn't look too bad but I've had bad experiences with this sort of thing, if it's poor quality it never ends up looking like the photo.

I have had good results hiding the door panel scratches with Chemical Guys Silk Shine. I spray the product on a microfiber towel and then rub it into the scratches. You will need to do the entire door panel as it changes the sheen of the black. Then you will want to do the rest of the black plastic in your car. 😆

It doesn't hide the scratches perfect but in my opinion the results are acceptable.

I tried using magic eraser on the scratches and didn't have any improvement. I'm afraid to try something more aggressive.
