I believe it just resets itself (i.e. it constantly checks and shows the pressures). On my i3 I had to go into the tyre pressure menu and choose to reset it, but the EV3 just seems to do it each time you drive. I happen to have the tyre monitor open on the driver display and every time I start the car it says to drive the car to show the tyre pressures. After a very short time they pop up and also will change (increase due to tyre heat from driving) over time during the journey.

 

Many thanks, my last car had to be reset manually via the screen after a low pressure display warning. I did not realise you could display live pressure's on screen just something else learned on my journey through the mysteries of the EV3.

 

The newer cars are equipped with direct TPMS, which continuously and without intervention indicates the pressure of each individual tire after a few hundred meters.
The older and cheaper indirect TPMS relies on tire rotation and data collected by the ABS and requires an initial reset.
